"As a Marymount
Middle School teacher it is always interesting to encounter
a student who is so competent, confident and respected, that
you want to contribute money now to his national presidential
campaign. So it is with Robby.
He
arrived at Marymount as a sixth grader and was an editor
of the Yearbook, Vice-President of the 7th grade class, and,
in the eighth grade, was President of the Student Council,
winning praise as a fabulous organizer, responsible, thoughtful
and impressive as a leader. See what I mean. Let¹s
form an exploratory committee right now.
He served as senior editor
of the Mustang Journal, Marymount¹s student magazine. While
accomplishing these tasks with a quiet grace, he maintained
academic honors. He has won National Achievement Awards
for History and Science. He loves roller blading and
golf.
Robby
has an interesting contrast in other pursuits. He is
at home in the water with his dad, who is professor of Marine
Technologies at Santa Barbara City College, while at the same
time he has been learning to fly since he was ten. Jacques
Cousteau and Chuck Yeager rolled into one. Next year
Robby will attend Santa Barbara High School. Robby
graduates with honors."
